For this public meeting, it would be great if we follow these items:

Current release train

Current release train (2023.1.0) starts today with the powsybl-core release (Release v5.2.0 (expected: 2023-03-29) · powsybl/powsybl-core (github.com)). We are still waiting for two fixes after release candidate:

-          An issue with disconnectors that are not cleaned after remove hvdc line or voltage level ;

-          A change in AMPL executor for the first release of powsybl/powsybl-optimizer (github.com).

Note that for the moment, the migration guide is empty…

Release followed by:

-          powsybl-dynawo

-          powsybl-diagram

-          powsybl-open-loadflow: a week more is needed.

-          powsybl-entsoe: should wait for open-loadflow.

-          powsybl-optimizer (not in dependencies for the first release).

-          pypowsybl in about a week, after the release train.

Open-loadflow new version will be probably amazing. We have some issues on zero impedance networks, especially when switches are enabled or disabled during simulation. This should be fixed with this version after a great work from the team. I think that the version will supports bus bar section contingencies and maybe bus contingencies, fast restart for switches. More tests are needed.

Philippe wants to submit to the TSC a new generic feature inside our organization, called a RAO for Remedial Action Optimizer. See attached slides.  

Important information

We are planning to have a release train in the beginning of June. I think that we have to think about no feature release (only patch releases) between mid-June and September as the team will not be full.
