Pecan Street Open Source Residential Microgrid?

James Kempf <kempf42@...>

Hi Scott,

I am talking about the OpenARMS SARM API. There is an HTTP API there but it isn't in the OpenAPI 3.x format nor is there an OpenAPI 3.x yaml or JSON specification document included in the OpenARMS zip file.

Hey James, good to hear from you, thank you for the introduction Shuli...I hope your doing well.

I'm a bit confused.....and might need a bit more background info...which API are we talking about?

Hi Scott,

I'm particularly interested in your API. I took a brief look at it this morning. It does not seem to be a REST API, in OpenAPI 3.0 format with JSON schema. Was there a reason for not using a standardized API format?

Also, LF Energy VPP & MG WG is working with a contribution from Sony for a DC microgrid called Hyphae. I'm wondering if there might be some way to get a common, standardized API between the two open source projects? Hyaphae doesn't have any capability to do load control yet.

Thanx.

Hi Scott - here is a question from James Kempf.

Maybe we can make a time to catch up? Hope all is well down in TX.

Thanks,

Shuli
