Actually I'm using imx6dl-sabresd evaluation board.
Of course, I can try to bitbake it.
cross compiling that way should work. The meta-everest layer is quite usable already, it however does not build the java .jar files, so they need to be manually copied in another recipe. Apart from that it should work.
You can checkout an example yocto bsp based on imx8p here that includes everest automatically:
The everest meta layer is here:
If you are using yocto give it a try. Which board are you using? Maybe we can add support in repo-manifests for that?
Ok, I found it in your documentation.
I will do the same by cross compiling then attaching it to a systemd service.

I'm trying to organize something with a imx6 custom board and an stm32
Thanks for the access.
Which is the best way to run EVerest on ARM target architecture, do you cross compile it then you start it as a service or you place it on a docker and deploy it?
I would like to bitbake the meta layer but is not ready yet, unfortunately : P
- Phytec + Texas Instruments are currently preparing evaluation boards running with EVerest.
- or a controller from chargebyte
more to come :-)
ping me if you need further details
