EPRI Smart Building and Communities Webcast - Primer and Metrics for Grid-Interactive and Efficient Buildings and Communities

Ethan Goldman

Dear CalTRACKers -

I wanted to invite you to an EPRI webinar next week where I'll be presenting on CalTRACK. This was originally going to be part of their Electrification conference, but it's gone virtual (and also is now free).

If you're interested in participating in the discussion about how CalTRACK can be used to provide the hourly baseline for demand flexibility from smart homes and connected communities, please attend the webinar; there will be time for Q&A after the presentations. See below for more info and the webinar link.

Also, if you have been using CalTRACK for measuring impact from any grid-interactive projects, please let me know and I'll be happy to feature your work in my slides!

Stay safe,
Ethan

Hello,

Hope you all are well, safe and healthy. Due to recent interest on the topic of Grid-Interactive and Efficient Buildings (GEB)s and Smart Energy Buildings and Communities, we have decided to turn the original Grid-Interactive and Efficient Building Electrification Workshop at the 2020 Electrification Conference and Exposition into a 3 to 4 -part Webcast Series on the topic. First WebEx Meeting Invite is attached.

The first Webcast will be on Thursday, April 30th at 1PM Eastern Time and 10AM Pacific Time. The Webcast will be focused on:

(1) A Primer on Grid-Interactive and Efficient Buildings and Communities and research needs by the energy industry led by Monica Neukomm and Sarah Zaleski from the US Department of Energy.

(2) Baselining the Baseline - Developing Metrics for Valuating Grid-interactive and Efficient Buildings and Communities. This discussion will be led by Ethan Goldman who is Chair of the CalTRACK Working Group.

Please feel free to forward to those who are interested. Please see below for the Webcast information. If you have any questions, or have any additional information before April 30th, please let us know. Thanks, and looking forward to seeing you all virtually.
