My favorite names are ACCORD (for configuration project) and VISION (for virtualisation project).

Indeed configuration tools aim at making all devices in accord and virtualisation tools aim at developing a new vision of automation and control system.

Nota bene : http://www.iotocean.org/about/ - OCEAN – (Open Alliance for IOT standards) already exists in open source ecosystem.
